Founded in the early 1980s , Middle East Chemicals Ltd is a family-run business based in the United Kingdom. We are an export company specialising in shipping chemicals to the Middle East.

Our founder, Michael Watt, an expert in the chemical sector based in Saudi Arabia, recognised the need for better and more reliable supply lines into the region, and so returned to the UK to set up Middle East Chemicals. In the intervening years, the company has grown to build a reputation for reliability and excellent service, with many of our regular customers returning to us year after year.

Based in our office in Bedford, we ship goods from various depots across the UK as well as shipping direct from various locations around the world. We are a well established and respected British export company.

Industry experts in sourcing, we supply many different industrial chemicals to many different sectors and markets. These include, but are not limited to, Construction, Adhesives, Water Treatment, Cosmetics, Personal Care and Pharmaceuticals, and Home Care.

We are often asked for a list of the products we can export. We have no list, because we place no limits on what we can supply. We ask you to tell us your requirements and then we seek to find a supplier to meet your needs. We are entirely flexible to your requirements and regularly ship all sorts of chemicals. We are even happy to ship goods not related to the chemical industry.
